Antonio S. Dues Obituary (1993 - 2025)

Antonio “Tony” Dues was called Home on January 30, 2025 at the age of 31. Tony was born on Tuesday, August 17, 1993 in Frederick, Maryland to his loving parents Regina and Andrew Dues. In his short time, Tony lived a full life and made a huge impact on every life he touched. Even as a young child, Tony’s big smile was so infectious and brightened every room. He played football with his brother Ty for many years, from elementary through high school. He attended Frederick High School where he made many lifelong friends. Tony loved music and often debated about who was better: Backstreet Boys or N’Sync. Tony’s enjoyment of music and his cooking brought him and Danijua, the love of his life, together. Tony and Danijua, brought into this world two beautiful children, daughter Aurora “Tinkerbell” (born May 26, 2023) and Atreus “Doughboy” (born July 23, 2024). Tony also loved football, especially the Pittsburgh Steelers: Go Black and Yellow! He loved Stitch and was so excited for the new movie. Ohana means Family, and spending time with his family was his favorite pastime. He also enjoyed playing video games with his nephew, Jayceon, cooking out or just watching the rain for hours. Whenever he needed someone to talk to, he could always count on his best friends and brothers, Tyree and Devaughne. Tony will be truly missed but his impact and love will live forever. Tony is survived by his: partner, Danijua Brown; children, Aurora and Atreus Dues; parents, Regina Dues (Ozie) and Andrew Dues, Jr.; brothers, Tyree and Devaughne Dues; great-grandmother, Helen Hill; grandmother, Almeda Booker; grandfather, Andrew Dues, Sr.; uncles, Clarence Walker, Jr. and Maurice Dues; aunts, Michelle Dues, Renee Mink and Sandra Denise Walker; nephew, Jayceon Dues; and a host of relatives and friends.
